Feng Shui, architecture, in a much older language.
A formal Chinese study of buildings, orientation and time. Not decoration. Not superstition. A calculation-led practice, applied here with the discipline of a working architect.
How the practice works
What it studies
The relationship between a building's orientation, layout and surroundings, and the people who live or work inside it.
How it works
Compass readings, Flying Star charts, Xuan Kong formulas and the traditional methods taught in Malaysia and Singapore, applied to real floor plans.
Who it's for
Homeowners, business owners, developers and organisations who want a serious, discreet consultation.
The version of Feng Shui most people meet online is a marketplace of symbols , coins, wind-chimes, laughing figurines. The version practised here is different. It is the version taught in Malaysia and Singapore, at the Yap Cheng Hai Centre of Excellence and at the Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics: rigorous, calculation-led, and free of ornament.
A Feng Shui consultation begins where architecture does. Orientation. Circulation. Natural light. How the building sits on its land, how the door faces, how each occupant relates to the space through their BaZi. From that basis, precise recommendations follow, most of them quiet, structural and easy to live with.
How a Feng Shui consultation actually works
Feng Shui is the Chinese counterpart to Vastu, a formal discipline that studies how a building's orientation, layout and surroundings shape the health, relationships and fortunes of the people inside it. It has almost nothing to do with the ornaments the internet associates with it. In Meenakkshi's practice, it is treated as what it is, a calculation-led extension of architecture.
Every consultation begins with your floor plan, a precise compass reading of the main door, and the BaZi charts of the principal occupants. From there, the property is analysed using Flying Star and Xuan Kong formulas, cross-referenced against the year, and considered against the way you actually live or work in the space.
What you receive
- A written report with annotated floor plans, in plain, unhurried language.
- Room-by-room recommendations, prioritised by impact and cost.
- Placement, orientation, materials, colour and timing, nothing decorative.
- A follow-up review call after you have lived with the changes.
- The option of an annual update as the energies of each year shift.
Residential, commercial and pre-purchase
The same rigour applies whether the space is a family home in Delhi NCR, an office abroad, a hospitality project, or a property you are considering buying. Pre-purchase audits are one of the most useful services on offer, a small investment before a very large one.
A word on remedies
You will not be asked to fill your home with objects. Most recommendations are architectural, placement of the bed, orientation of the desk, use of a particular sector, timing of an important move. Where a small intervention is genuinely useful, Meenakkshi will explain exactly why and how, and leave the choice with you.

How to Find Your Home's Facing Direction
Every chart in classical Feng Shui begins with one measurement. It is also the one most often taken wrongly, and a few degrees changes everything that follows.

The Luo Pan: The Instrument at the Centre of It
A Feng Shui compass looks like an object of mysticism. It is closer to a slide rule, and understanding what is written on its rings tells you what the practice actually is.

Feng Shui for Selling a Home
Most Feng Shui asks how a home serves the people in it. Selling reverses the question entirely. Now the home has to appeal to someone who has not arrived yet.
